Why does Storkroom recommend Sherwin-Williams paint?

The paint that’s recommended to go with my baby bedding requires primer. Why is that necessary?  
Primers "anchor" the finish coats, level uneven areas, seal porous surfaces and make the finish coat smooth and uniform. Gray shaded primers also aid in the color development of vivid, brilliant, and deep accent colors. 

How much paint will I need for my baby room?  
A general rule of thumb is that each gallon will cover approximately 300 square feet of wall space.

What’s the difference between the Sherwin-Williams Duration Home and Harmony brands? Why is Duration more expensive?  
Both products are designated as green products and they meet or exceed the criteria set forth for indoor air quality. Harmony is a low odor/zero voc product.  It has an excellent washable and durable finish. Duration Home is a low odor/low voc product offering superior washability. It also resists shiny burnish marks and mildew, providing the ultimate in quality and performance.

Paint swatches are included in my Storkroom package. Why can’t I take those to my local hardware superstore and have them match the paint?  
Your Storkroom nursery fabrics and Sherwin-Williams paint colors have been carefully chosen to go together. Other companies do not have the technology to do a perfect color match of your custom colors. 

Paint comes in a number of different finishes – satins, glosses and flats. Which one do I use for my baby room walls?  
Matte or Satins offer the best look and are easy to clean.
